A coupon is a code that takes money off a sale. You make it in the portal, and staff enter it at the POS.

  1. In the menu, click Products, then Settings.
  2. Click Coupons (under Pricing), then New Campaign.
  3. Type a Name.
  4. Pick the Code mode:
    • Shared code: one code everyone uses. Type it in Shared code (what customers present).
    • Unique code batch: one-time codes. Type how many in Generate unique codes now (batch mode), up to 5000.
  5. Under Value, pick the Type and fill in the amount:
    • Percent: fill in Percent (%).
    • Amount ($): fill in Amount ($).
    • Best of % / $: fill in both. The customer gets whichever saves more.
    • Cap — max discount $ (“up to”) and Minimum spend $ (on eligible items) are optional.
  6. Under Window & Limits, set what you need:
    • Starts (store-local) and Ends (inclusive). Blank means no limit.
    • Total use limit and Uses per customer.
    • First-time customers only.
    • Requires a customer attached. First-time customers only and Uses per customer need a customer anyway.
  7. Under Stacking, the boxes start on the usual settings. What each one does is in How discounts, schedules and coupons combine.
  8. Under Scope, tick Stores and Categories, or list Product SKUs / barcodes. Nothing ticked means every store and every product.
  9. Leave Active ticked and click Create Campaign. The campaign’s page opens. For a batch, Export CSV (codes + scan strings) there gives you the codes.
  1. Add the customer first if the coupon needs one.
  2. Open Functions and tap Apply Discount.
  3. Tap Coupon, type the code in Coupon Code, and tap Apply Discount. The cart shows Discount with the code beside it.

For the rest of the window, see Discount an item or the whole sale.
